The man who designed that bike must have had trouble getting to sleep for weeks as he thought about the styling.

"Honey, what's wrong?"
"Ah, dammit, it's just the styling on the new KTM."
"What's wrong with it?"
"Well, I've got an angular gas tank, angular bodywork, an angular frame, I've even got an angular windshield.  But the wheels!  Their circular!  Ruins the whole package!"

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

I'm sorry, I must be lost, I thought this was the "Twostroke Motocross" , not "Fourstroke roadbike" forum. Can someone give me directions. Maybe Ford could help me out.

Although we are primarily two-stroke motocross enthusiasts, on the greater scale we are enthusiasts of motorcycles and other go-fast hardware, and occasionally something comes up that's bad-ass and isn't a two-stroke or that doesn't run on a motocross track.  On the whole, I'd say this forum is on-topic more of the time than most other forums out there, including the US Congress.

It's a pretty cool bike, but it's still a fooper. I'd rather have a TZR or an RGV, or maybe an RZ500.... Oh hell I'd rather have an RD or RZ 350... or even a GT380 How about a nice RD400?
I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

In my pile of old motorcycle magazines I have a comparison test of a Suzuki GT750 Water Buffalo and a Honda CB750.The interesting thing to note is that the two bikes are virtually identical in all aspects of performance, including fuel consumption.Try and figure that one out?

I like most motorcycles 2 or 4 stroke. I don't like the AMA handicap, Or the piece of shit race bikes it has given us.

I ride a Speed Triple on the street, I'm looking for a clean 77 or 78 RD400. I had one when I was a teen, Used to wheelie past the high school to impress the ladies 8)

Triple are cool and sound awesome! Just no wind protection! Like he said just like everything on 2 wheels.. My last road bike was an 06 ZX-10r... Probably gonna get the Aprilia or the new 10r this summer during my deployment brake.. Missing having problems with cops I guess?
