I watched this live on TV last night and the boy did good, finished second behind Justin Brayton in the Friday main event, they were miles ahead of the rest.

The commentator was good saying things like " who thought two strokes were dead" etc etc. However he pointed out that Cedric is being forced to ride a 4 stroke in the 2011 MXGP either by his team or KTM. He said that he expected that Cedric wouldn't be too happy about this going by his performance on the 250 SX and would be back on two stroke for sueprcross in 2011.

Seems an odd thing for KTM to do.

Yeah thats awesome with his great results again in supercross. I can understand though that a team wants him to ride a four stroke if he is riding MX1 again. He just wasn't able to get good starts on the two stroke against the much more powerful, much bigger capacity 450's. This then made it hard for him to charge through the pack week in and week out making up positions. He definitely could be top 10 in that class. He has the skills. I would much prefer to see him riding the two stroke though. He see him in the states in the next couple of years, he is awesome on a supercross track. If the AMA allowed fair rules and allowed the 250 two stroke in the lites class, he would win the championship in a canter !!

One further point I wanted to make, is that Brayton was FAST when he was here in Australia, and only Windham had any speed to match Justin. So if Cedric can hang with Justins lap times, he must be HAULING !!

Why amazing? I do not believe a 250 2 stroke is a disadvantage. Tonus on a 250 fourstroke became third. Lap times in supercross and gp of 450 and 250 fourstrokes are the same. All in the rider.

I checked all laptimes this year and in Gp's 250 four strokes are often faster then laptimes of 450 f. And Cairoli becaime worldchampion on a 350 f so if you all say that a 250 2 stroke is faster and the better bike over a 250 f then it should also be better then a 450 f because laptimes of 450 f are not faster then 250 f. So not so amazing that he does so well. All propaganda!!!

The whole world is ruled by it and not only bikes.

the disadvantage is that the top 250f's are factory bikes.

So funny, i was on a special site where they broadcasted the geneva event live. There was also a chatroom there and everybody was fan of Soubeyras only because he is riding a 2 stroke. It reminds me of the fact that so many people are supporting the 2 stroke case. Seems 4  strokes are dead already, factories just do not realise it yet.

125 races as well, no wonder they had a full house.
I reckon that's what the Aussie SuperX needs after watching a bit on tv the other day. Boring!!!
And the sound...... ??? a 125 race would inject a bit of excitement into the whole thing
