This is a photo from Lowell Spangler's garage....

Yes he got some help from Kawasaki for the past few years... but a pile of those bikes are practice bikes and a couple are modified race machines....

That might cost a few dollars!

He is an up-and-coming local Pro from the East coast....

Do a Google search on his name... or click this link for a mini-interview.

Pretty good interview. I guess Team Green gave him all those bikes? Man, what a life.

If they're any sort of modified to race on a professional level, I'd put them at a lot more than $40K.  And I thought my dad's garage had a lot of money sitting in it!

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Those bikes are pretty much the standard "deal". I have an aquaitance who had a factory support ride back in the day and had 9 125's in his dad's shop. He suddenly quit racing and a truck was sent to pick them up. He had NOTHING left to ride.....
