Nice find on Google..... an excerpt from the Motocross & Off-Road Performance Handbook By Eric Gorr, containing the Suspension and Chassis chapter of the book.

Please keep in mind that the book is a few years old and technology has advanced, but this can be a great introduction to the inner workings of suspension components and settings.
