The latest BRP twostroke sleds are sooo nice. Every year my resistance weakens a little, before you know it there will be a snowmobile plugging up the shop as well.

My sister landed a job a month ago at Kastle, they make sled suits. Tucker Hibert and his wife where at the office, going over designs, my sisters 1st week there. At the drags the 70,s mod sleds rip, it,s unreal how fast they are.

We don't get enough snow here for me to justify a sled. Even when things get all snowy in the Easter region of the State, most of the areas we're familiar with get gated off, and I don't know
where
you'd park. In this region of the world, a PWC would be much more practical during the winter months - the streets are so wet you could take it to work!

But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.

Jet Ski? Why waste your money on something you can't use in winter?

In Oregon, you can use a Jet Ski on land. It rains so bloody much here in the winter, you could probably use all the water in the air to climb up to 15,000ft and use your PWC like an airplane.

Jetz I guess you are referring to Oregon being very wet west of the Cascades. The last time we went to Crater lake on vacation the interior of the state was very hot and arid, almost desert like.

You know how freezing cold that water would be if the snow mobile died?

I dunno what speed you would have to maintain but I would run with 'when in doubt, pin it'. I didn't think about the water temp, you wouldn't last long. Only been in really cold water once and it literaly takes you breath away.

When in doubt, pin it... Where have I heard that phrase before? Oh yeah, I remember now! It's a sticker that's been on my uncle's bike since the days when Stegosaurs were considered a major obstacle to riding. I hear tell you can ride a bike across water, as well.
