2006 kx250 opinions
« on: August 15, 2010, 02:35:40 PM »
So I have been looking for a 2005 and up yz250 for a long time but can never find one.  Today i get on craigslist and their is a 2006 kx250 in showroom condition for only $2400.  I couldnt pass it up so i called him and asked if he would take $2300, even though this bike could easily sell for around $3000.  He said yes so i went to his house checked it out and rode it.  I love the bike it is super clean, almost brand new.  I know the 2005 kx250 one the two stroke shootout, so this ought to be a good bike.  Im going to get the money tomorro and go pick it up.  Before i do this though i want yalls opinion on just how good of a bike this really is.  If any of you have this bike please give me some feedback.

I have not owned that year KX, But they are great bikes from all I have read.

That is a smoking deal too. If you don't like it for some reason you could easily turn it around, and get your money back (or make a profit).

I would go for it!

KX's are sweet man, I would not pass that deal up, I had a 2006 and I miss it, if I ever found the right deal to trade my RM for one, or get one I would again in a heartbeat.

But I do love my RM too, I just think KX's look awesome, and they have a sick engine!

Yesterday we went to get the money so we could buy it but the atms would not dish out $2300 and it was sunday so we couldnt go inside.  My dad is going to pick it up after work since i was in school and couldnt do it.  I swear if the guy sells it after we told him we are buying it i will egg his house. :P Na im just kiddin.  But something like that has happened to me before with a truck i wanted so i hope it doesnt happen again with this bike.  When i get it i will post better pics of it.
