Dual Sporting Colorado
« on: August 12, 2010, 06:55:33 AM »
I belong to a local dual sport club and a group of the guys made a trip out to Colorado last week. Here is the photo montage. The creator of this photo set goes by the handle of "Grape Ape", and he is honestly about 6'7", but one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. In the group photos you will notice one gigantic dude, that's him  :) . Though the majority of the bikes are four strokes (and Husabergs), you will see a couple pictures that may make you chuckle. Those are of a 250 2 stroke KTM dual sport towing a broken down, nearly brand new, Husaberg with only 20 miles on the clock out of the woods. I feel really bad for Bob that his brand new $10,000 bike lost the oil pump and trashed his engine, but he is the type that likes to bash on 2 strokes... ;D

Great pics thank for sharing.Do you know what part of Colorado that was?I need to get back out there with the mc.i worked and did a bunch of mtb riding out there this year.

Bummer about the husaberg 4t or not.Hope they cover the damage for him on a new bike. That being said maybe he will back off on the 2t comments.Or better yet buy a 2t for his next bike. :)

All I know is they said it was the Taylor Park Reservoir area. I have no idea where that is at in Co.
