If it fouls plugs you may need to go down on the idle jet..

and as for the spark plug.. it isn't easy if you don`t post the  name on the plug

 it may have different resistance

General Two Stroke Talk / anyone come up with a better mousetrap?
« on: July 01, 2012, 05:24:02 PM »
i  have rounded some too.

what i did was grind down to next smaller size socket, just a Thad bigger so you knock it on..

Another way i did was much more simple, I took of clutch cover and drained that way.

It may work if you don`t get a replacement

One idea for the real gizmo geek on this bike...

The guy keeps talking about keeping the front end down. wonder if its possible to put some sort of accelerometer and/or gyro system in it so it would not let the front end higher than a set amount (45 degrees?) before it starts cutting power. Then you could pin it all you want and never worry about a loop. Wonder if anyone has ever tried that before?

Nice idea  But it would only be useful on starts.  It would be real scary jumpin nose high, and having bike die

I like the Yamaha front forks..
but paying twice the amount of money as a uses yz, and just getting new sticker.. Just isnt worth my money..

this is yamaha`s problem right now... people look for used yz instead of new. when design gets so stale

the cc should not be the same as the main class..
then there is no point in calling it mx3

in my opinion..
