MXDN 2010
« on: July 29, 2010, 04:33:31 PM »
Has the USA named their team yet ?

NZ Team:
Ben Townley
Josh Coppins
Brad Groombridge

Must be a bummer for the Aussies having Reed out for the season. :(

P.S. They should introduce a 125 class  ;D

Canada won't field their top riders as usual I suspect. :'(
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Sorry i don't know who Groombridge is but Townely (when he can stay upright) and Coppins are solid entries.

What's taking the US Team so long to name our team other than Dungey of course. Guess they're waiting on JS or RV to stake their claim to the next 450 spot. I think Canard will get the MX2 nod.

Groombridge is a local mx2 rider who is pretty bloody quick.
They changed the rules and the mx2 rider has to be under 23 years old.
I still rate Coppins but he wont do any good if he is on the Aprilia. :(
Hopefully he will be riding something else.
This year is the first time in 2 years BT has been fully fit so hopefully he can keep up his currant good form.

If BT gets it goin on the day he's gonna be hard to stop, i think Metty is our only real threat at gettin anywhere near the front.
No doubt current aussie champ Jay Marmont will be a pick for sure, dunno who else though..
