Bikes bone stock and it was my first day back on the bike. Hopefully both of the 250's will be up and running soon and will look awesome by Washougal. Now I just need some support to get the dang thing ready to race because my wallet can't afford it! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures and I should have a video with some awesome 2-stroke sounds after this coming weekend! No tracks here are open during the week and I can't ride mine during the summer so I am down to 2 days of riding a week! LAME!

Holy Balls!  Now that's the kind of serious ass-kicking I like to see!

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Hey Jetz, have you ever raced in a vintage race, and would it ever appeal to you?
I'd rather be riding...

I'd like to, someday.  Everytime I go to a race I think of how fun it would be to compete.  More than anything I'd like to enter the 120, but the Hammer and Tongs rules require a silencer, so that's out.  The Husky would be fine, though.  All it needs is plates and it'd be good to roll.  I'd like to invest in some more safety gear before entering, though.  I feel okay the way I am riding in the middle of nowhere with no one around to run into, but when there's 25 other screw-heads determined to be first out of a corner, I want me some armor.

Ya, most definitely, actually, you could take advantage of the 250f-250 rule, and race in a modern race, that would be quite a sight

Watson - Nice bike! Great form and wonderful photos. Congratulations and welcome back to the smokers.

What kind of help do you need to get ready?
Life is short.

The track is rvmx. Don't let the pix fool you. The track is terrible most of the time. I am 25, I need any support I can get. Money would be nice obviuosly but I don't expect it. Ill list my current sponsors later when I'm not driving

Hey, my Grandma lives in Longview, and I have long wanted to bring my dirt bike to that track when I go to visit, do you know if it is any good? I also think their dirt bike shop is AMAZING! All 5 brands in one building, although lot's of stuff is overpriced

I havent ridden there in 7 years since I've been out here in the east coast. I remember back in the day with Josh Hill doing laps on his Thousand Oaks YZ85.

The track was pretty badass with some fun step ups and some big jumps if you got the balls.

It's cool too because after pounding out some laps we would ride down to the columbia river from the track, and jump in and cool off.
