Freestone National Motocross
« on: June 02, 2010, 12:40:53 PM »
Hey Guys,

For those of you in Texas that will be attending the National on Saturday, please be sure to look for me. I'll be wearing a White and Blue TM Racing Mechanics shirt. It should be the only one.

A few other hints, I'm 6' 4" tall, thin, wear glasses, have graying hair.... I will also have my nephew in tow. This will be his first Pro Race. He's from Texas so, the heat should be no problem for him!

Make sure you introduce yourself. Ask me nice and you may get some cool free swag!!

It's going to be a scorcher... the temps are supposed to be in the triple digits. Make sure you hydrate with something other than beer! LOL

See you there!

We circulated the track like 6 times... finally got so hot that we stopped walking around. Hung out in the shade on the West end of the track for a while and then stood on the bleachers for the final motos.

Too bad we didn't meet up! I had Two Stroke Motocross shirts and some other two stroke shirts for you! I carried them around all day... you would have had lots of shirts, just so I didn't have to carry them any more!!

Really sorry that I missed you!

There was one racer (can't remember his name) on a KTM #666 attempting to qualify for the National, unfortunately he did not qualify. Did not get back to the pits to talk to him.

The racing in the second moto was exciting, local pro Kyle Regal did awesome!! Passing 4 factory stars to finish second in the second moto for a third overall. Awesome ride!

Currently in Tennessee on my way home... man it was hot in Texas!!! Not used to such heat, being from New York and all. I was wiped out so I left before the end of the second 250 moto... we had to get on the road at 5:30am to head back this morning....
