reed valve, and some duct tape so you can tape the throttle open. i have an 03, same bike and a reed valve helped.

I have also heard getting more are into the airbox makes a big difference. I just bought some of those vents to put on my 02. I will post a review once I get them in.

I also run a Vforce, and a fatty pipe, that combination helped.
Duct tape for the throttle, hahaha, that good, and so true. I always feel like I am flying around the track when I ride it.

Here is some reading for you.http://twostrokemotocross.com/2009/05/budget-racer-2001-honda-cr125/

You can also get a rear fender that will help with airflow. Think cycles makes it. Called the powerflow.

I have read that article and have dealt with that company. Good luck with that, Screw me once......................
As for the airbox, An 05 airbox doesn't fit on the older bikes because the carb diameter is smaller. I know I bought one and tried.

Its entirely possible TSM's filter is blocking thousands, if not millions of hte exact same thing and for whatever reason, that one snuck through. The idea is to load up a server so much it crashes.

As for the mods first thing you want to do is drill/stab some holes in the side panels to let the airbox breathe. its free, and yeilds noticeable power improvements. Yes, the original was that bad. Next i'd be looking at compression and porting mods. simplest and cheapest way to get extra compression is to mill the head.

They do it so if was quoted then then be certain the forum is active. I delete them when I find them or people report them. I always ask nobody respond to spammers, but nobody listens to me LOL.

I think what you are meaning is so they know the forum is active. I avoid posting in the spam threads though. Easy to pick out.
