2013 crf plastics conversion to CR's
« on: May 28, 2013, 06:20:26 AM »
So I've been experimenting with the 2013 Crf450r plastics fitting the 02-07 cr125 / 250 's. I plan on making brackets out of 6061 (T6) aluminum and selling a few on eBay. Before I begin this endeavor I was wanting to gauge the market/demand (as well as the holy crap that's SICK) so below I've posted the phoobucket link to a few pics of my 2002 Cr125. Please check them out, spread the word, let me know what you think.

Happy viewing,
Anthony Bennett

Since you want to sell these and you didn't just make it for yourself I'll be blunt. That gap at the seat/tank looks bad.

looks to me to be just a mock up at this stage, but has potential. Airbox problems?

F**K THE WHALES......................SAVE THE 2 STROKE!!!!

The hardest part about riding a 4 stroke is telling your parents your Gay!!

05 CR 250

Yes its just a Mock up at this point. I'm not happy with the seat either. I'm goin to look into making a mold from a 13 tank thank will fit like a cover and bolt between the top shroud bolts and the seat holder. The air box cover was not part of the plastics kit so I was borrowing a friends. Im hoping to have a rideable setup and the brackets assembled within a few weeks. The plastics have to be cut but nothin crazy. I wouldn't sell the kit till I've tested the brackets durability (and I have a nack for destroying things)and have a tank cover.
