rlaj1004 Honda was and always will be a 4 stroke company... Back in the early 70's they were getting their arses handed to them by the 2 strokes.

They hated 2 strokes, but needed to be competitive, so the Honda Elsinore was born... Yes they made some great bikes, like your 125, but they still wanted to be a 4 stroke only company. Doug Henry made the MX world stand on its ear with the 400 thumper, and Honda not only jumped on the bandwagon, they helped build the bandwagon. They have a lot of influence / clout in the motosports world. What Honda wants, they usually get. BUT... the tide is turning... more and more riders are realizing the excessive costs associated with racing a stroker. More and more are realizing that racing a smokers is so much more fun. For us mere mortals, its the fun factor that keeps me riding... I know I'll be in the back of the pack, but I'll have the biggest grin on my face...
