What the Hell??
« on: March 14, 2013, 02:55:09 PM »
So I am looking at the practice times for Daytona and noticed Ryan Smith 831. Take a look at the pics and the bike listed. Is the AMA in total denial or just stupid?
What am I missing?

Yes they are in denial, yes they are stupid... I'll bet when entering the data into their computer system, there's a drop down box with all of the different bikes listed, but I assume the list of bikes does not include a smoker.   :o  >:-D

And another thing, no sponser listed. You think thats because TSM didn't want to be listed? I find that hard to believe.

Every time i sign up for a race i put KTM 250 sx. When i check the riders list at the track i always see sxf. I now write KTM 250 sx two stroke just so there is no confusion. Same thing happened with my rm, they would always tack on the z

wankers. The differences between the bikes is such worlds it seems just dumb to assume that they meant a four stroke.

Not too surprising... It's usually wise to assume that the last place bike is a 4 stroke.

The compiler of the list is relying on the "Foopers Last" rule.

I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

This made me chuckle
