MXA: testing the 2013 husky cr125
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:30:05 AM »

The MXA wrecking crew has started testing the 2013 Husqvarna CR125 (shown here on Wednesday at Piru). Once we run it through the complete test cycle as a 125, we are going to build a full-race project bike, using the 144 kit, for the World Two-Stroke Championships on April 7. MXA will field a large team for the 125 Pro class?including a Husky CR144, Yamaha YZ125 and KTM 125SX for Dennis Stapleton, Trent Pugmire and Daryl Eklund.

All that space in the engine cradle/ compartment should be filled up with a gas tank to drop the center of gravity! Still a good looking bike!

"Technology frightens me to death. It's designed by engineers to impress other engineers, and they always come with instruction booklets that are written by engineers for other engineers - which is why almost no technology ever works."

That was always my thought as well. There are a bunch of them running around here and you can't help but think that every time you look at one.Still, what a sweet thing to change a plug or work around the top end. :)
I'll look forward to MXA's write ups.

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Husky have been doing it for ever, in the olden times the 125 used the 500 chassis, don't know if thats the case today.
KTM share the same chassis between the 2 and 4 t's.

MEET THE WORLDS LONGEST SPARK PLUG LEAD.

No need to pull the tank off to do the top end.
