Given the advances being made with two-stroke technology, that may not be such a bad idea after all. There is not a MotoGP rider in the paddock who does not long to ride a 500cc stroker ? or even a 750, as suggested by Stoner in the past. Given the exponential rate at which the four-stroke MotoGP bikes have driven up costs ? something which many engineers had warned of prior to the switch from two strokes to four strokes ? it might just be a way of bringing costs back down again.

lol you know it must be bad when he's racing for HRC possibly the best team out there and he would rather ride a 500 vs his 1000

Rossi has said it many times that all the 4 strokes and electronics have done is, up the expence and made the "good" rider look like a "very good" rider.
I would love to see Stoner on a 500. Surely Mick Doohen must have 1 at home he could try. 8)

I don't follow motoGP but this is definitely interesting, thanks for posting it up. If it was all two stroke, I'd watch it but who wouldn't?

Like everyone else is saying, funny how the dude riding for Honda is preferring the two smoke. Good on him for speaking his mind.

stoner always says it how it is , and is retiring at the top of his game as says he doesnt like the bull shit , he was 1 second clear on the harder tire today than the next best { his team mate } on the soft tire he is making everyone look silly and leaving the sport
