Where can I get these?

Getting some black plastic on my 2003 kx250.  i can find the fork guards, number plates, etc but not these plastics in black:






can someone maybe tell me what their called, or post links to where i can buy them in black?  like when i type in radiator cover plastic it comes up with shrouds.  idk what to call them lol.

I've never seen those parts in black, you could try dyeing them black

ive heard dying black is hard as you usually get grey.  i want like as black as the for guards im buying and stuff will be.  anyone on here know of a real good dye that should make it real black?  if not i might get some plastic spray paint, but id rather not go that route

A dye by the name of RIT is used for fabric and try Navy Blue; it can be purchased in department and fabric stores. Also, try the Eastwood Company, www.eastwood.com , for plastic paints and dyes. They sell all kinds of products used in refurbishing cars and you may find a product to do what you want.

thanks for the help man.  but dang now im in a pickle.  when first reading that kawi dude dye i wanted to do it, but as i read on a lot of people just got a smoke color, then the kawi guy said his disk cover didnt hold well.   idk i still may do it, see how it turns out, then if its grey just krylon fusion paint it black, that way if it chips there will still be a darkish color under.  i already have a black rear fender, and i just ordered acerbis black side # plates, black fork guards, and a green front # plate.  im getting my rims and hubs anodized black, along with possibly my triple clamps, shift/brake pedals, clutch/front brake levers, and maybe even sprockets black.  i might do the hubs green, but i need to see some pics first.   this local company is anodizing anything i want on my bike for $78 total! but yeah thats why i want those little plastics black.  it might look dumb with all black and green, then a couple white plastics.

get some black rit dye, I used it on my once white airbox plastics, and now there solid black

The thing about the dye is that if it isn't dark enough you can always put it in for a little longer; it's easier to make darker than lighter. Also, the guy who dyed his stuff at Thumpertalk used liquid dye not the powder type and that may be where the differences lies.

ill give it a try. thanks guys!   one more question though,  how will it hold up to like pressure washing or a degreasing?  i usually either pressure wash my bike, or spray it down with simple green and rinse off.  is this dyed plastic going to fade quick or scratch to white easy?

oh and where can i get it? walmart

I'm not quite sure (I have Airbox Graphics on it to protect it)
And yeah you can get those dyes at walmart or online on amazon or something.

the adventure to find rit dye in black powder:

target = doesnt carry rit dye
walgreens = doesnt carry rit dye
cvs = doesnt carry rit dye
walmart #1 = all colors except black
dollar tree = doesnt carry rit dye
walmart #2 = out of rit dye in black also!   
home depot = doesnt carry rit dye

this has been a pain!!! just imagine how long it takes to drive to all those stores.  the only place ive found that carries it is walmart, and both near me are out of black

If you decide to go the krylon paint route, it is a pretty durable paint. It wont chip unless something sharp (a stick, rock, or screw driver) chips it. Its pretty cheap and easy to find too.

yeah i just didnt want to order it though.  yeah i just bought the black krylon fusion gloss.  figured id try out dyeing and if it dont work ill spray it.
