It's summertime here in western Canada, blazing hot, and all this talk about beer elsewhere on TSM has me thinking "What is your favorite beer?". The selection of beer in my neck of the woods is simply amazing, you name and you can buy it, from NZ to China. The regional breweries in my area pump out a bewildering plethora of specialty suds and we also have the national beers to choose from. I'm partial to some of the German beers, Becks and Warsteiner come to mind, and ,south of the border, Pyramid Hefeweizen beer of Seattle is simply splendid. Even some of the 7% "Ghetto" beers can be quite satisfying while other brewskies, such as the watered down donkey p*ss out of Atlantic Canada, are to be avoided at all costs ( ;)).

I'm not a big beer drinker but nice cold one now and then hits the spot. How about you? ;D

My fridge is always stocked with Bud Light lime, not for me, but I think it tastes really weak... Of course I don't drink though  ;)

I don't drink too often, but when I do drink beer I prefer it to be in green bottles.. and slightly skunky tasting  ;D

I like Heineken too  ;D

My wife is German, so beer is a staple in our house. I prefer European beers, and have been making my own for about 25 years now. We have a keg in the fridge, with a tap on the door. Now that my older son is gone, the beer lasts a lot longer.  ;D

If I have to buy normal Canadian beer, I buy Brava. I like the taste, and it goes down smooth. A little too smooth most times.

In my case,Moosehead and Keiths.Of course,if one wanted to purchase a boutique brand of product as a means of appearing superior and boosting a fragile ego,all the while realizing your choice of ride-er,I mean beer :<img src=" title="Roll Eyes" class="smiley"> is desperately inferior,then anything German is good. :P

Cnrcpla-sorry man but light lime is just gay-even more so if it's the Bud version.Sorry but someone had to say it-they were all thinking it. :-X

I have been spoiled by my travels and consider myself a beer snob... No industrial beer for me. Lucky that I have a great beer store that has tons of international brews and quite a few micro-brews as well. I drink my share of German and Belgian brew, plus English stuff. I like to keep on trying different beer from all over the place. I mainly like stouts, but curl quite a few Hefeweizen and Lagers..

In reality the Goosehead and Alexander Keiths beers are very nice, pricy in my area but well worth the effort. The Czechs make some very fine brews. ;D

Having spent a few years in Europe I have a fond taste for European lagers.
The German,Dutch,Belguim & Czech beers are all quite good.
Lowenbrau,Becks,Heineken,Budweiser (The real one from Czech guys) are my favorites.
But funny enough the beer I drink the most is also one of the cheapest her.
Double Brown or "Doh Bro" as its commanly called I drink the most of at home.
All the beer snobs give me shit about it but I like the taste and that is all that matters.
Funny enough a few of the guys that used to give me stick about it a few years ago drink it now. :<img src=" title="Roll Eyes" class="smiley">

I used to be a Beer Snob, but I really never liked Ales. The only thing I concidered real beer was Pilsners and Lagers. Ales give me a headache like cheap wine. I've traveled and lived in many countries around the world and always make it a habit to drink the local brew, but I fell in love with the Portuguese brand "Super Bock" so I moved here so I could drink it - often. Like about 10 a day!

It's not a Bock, but it is SUPER!

I love 'em hoppy & strong, Redhook Long Hammer IPA is my favorite lately, and it's brewed in Portsmouth, NH, about 1/2 an hour from my house.  Trying to quit though, booze really jacks up my blood pressure...

Doh Bro eh? That's an odd name for Fosters-you might as well admit-we know what you NZers drink. ;D

i dont drink, but a nice dr pepper (the cane sugar ones in the glass bottles), or ibc cream soda in the glass bottles, are my all time favorite
