I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Awwww thats really disappointing!!!! I was hoping for a design that really blew the jap foopers off their perch. Although if I was going to buy a fooper, thats the one I'd go with. The really lightweight engine is the main attraction for me. Nothing new on the CR125. Bugger

technically they said we'd see them in 2013, not be able to buy them.

this may explain the BNG for next year.

or possibly husky just wants to get on the rumour-ville bandwagon now that everyones completely over discussing the chances of  an EFI husaberg each year.. remember that? haha

I guess maybe Husqvarna isn't ready for the big move Backward into heavier, more complicated bikes with lots of sensors, pumps and parts.... doing what very few parts and gravity already do flawlessly....

people said the same thing when snowmobiles and outboards went clean! hahaha

Just wondering Bearso, why do you refer to the nobility to the south of you as KUWEE and not KIWI? :<img src=" title="Roll Eyes" class="smiley">

Because Aussies originated from criminals sent south by the British government and they don't spell no good. :P

Just looking for the crux of the issue, that's all. And apparently it's just what I thought it was.

It's a greenie thing, not a performance thing. So apparently we as riders would gain nothing in terms of performance, but we'd end up with a bunch of red tape greenie crap all over our motorcycles instead of the current 100% reliable system... And we're supposed to be happy and enthusiastic about this???

Yeah,... no thanks...

I think 4 stroke dirtbikes are a phase, kind of like "Glam Rock" in a way. You see the whole world subscribing to it, and you wonder how everyone could be choking down so much Kool Aid and Spam... Then 10 Years later, nothing's left but the timeless stuff from before and after..

FI = larger throttle bodies... a larger throttle body = more hp

and incase you havnt worked it out, emmissions have played a huge part in the demise of the two stroke.

take away that downfall and then there is no reason why they cant share or dominate the market (just like ourboards, snowmobiles and PWC's)

very few people who use these above products wish they still had a carby.

dont assume they will be more trouble than they are worth, because that has yet to happen and history has proven (3 times before) that it wont happen

The only downside I can see is that I will have to buy a powercommander and take my bike to a dyno when I do engine mods which are beyond the normal modifications (which will have downloadable maps available for).

but even thats a small price to pay for perfect fueling, no matter what the weather, no matter what altitude!

IMO husky isnt too concerned about having to take a step backwards with a bunch of sensors, the new 310 stroker has a low fuel light and neutral light, and according to a buddy of mine who test rode one last week "it had more f***ing relays under the seat than my streetbikes"

It's true. It wasn't that long ago that cars started to get computers, fuel injection, and all that heavy complicated stuff, and we all know how that worked out. Sure, they're great on gas, reliable, clean, and make big power at the same time, but they are complicated and must have been a huge step backward.  ;D :P
