Heading to Rocky Hill MX this weekend
« on: May 24, 2012, 03:29:24 PM »
It has been about a year since I raced last due to a bad foot injury. I finally got a truck up and going to get me there, and I can't wait. I;m going to have to take it easy on the big jumps and not go balls to the wall until I'm ready to. I don't want to be out this season to. I just hope some of the pro's can give me some pointers and not land on me from their jump, because I won't be hitting the big ones. ;D

It was a blast  ;D Who ever says older bikes can't keep up with new bikes isn't right, because I got 3rd only to a kx250 2T and a KTM250sx. So... Tell me again how a 90's bike can't rock with the current times.

Right on man . Taking someone seriously when they say " the 90's bikes are crap" is like taking some jackoff at the track serious when he says you need a 4 stroke to be competitive .  ;)

The track had a ton of jumps, I don't think I would be able to be fast on a 500  :o I almost lost it twice on my 250 because I wasn't holding on to the gas tank with my knees off a jump  :P But some kid ran a ttr 125 in open and actually kept up for a little while until I cut a tight corner and got in front.

Start it up just for the sake of starting it. If I don't have time to ride for a week or so I just let mine run for a bit. Keeps my sanity in check  ;)

I am getting like that as well Scotty.
My bikes are 800km from me now. :(
I have moved to the South Island for work for the next 3-6 months.
And the RM was just about finished. :'(
No riding for me for quite awhile.

If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough
