For You Maico Fans... even Jetzcorp!

Hi Guys,

My friend Vince went on a tour of the old Maico factory and had a little surprise for me. Check it out!

I almost cried.  That factory must be the almighty Graceland of all that is Maico.

Ooh, cool thought.  We should re-name that place "Maicca."  The really die-hard Maico freaks could make a pilgrimage to Maicca in respect for all the great things that happened there.  Would make an interesting project, at least, to hang a big Maicca sign on the place.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Being part of the only Maico dealership in New England, all this attention to this great brand on this site has been heartwarming, to say the least. It sure would have been great to see the factory when it was in operation.

MXLord, no that wasn't me, we started as a dealer in the early 90's. We mainly do parts, repairs, mods and restorations. I still have about 30 Maico's with half of them running bikes. I still have the AW400 I bought new in the crate in 77.
