problem reading oil level on 06 yz250

I am having problems reading the correct oil level when i change the oil in my 06 yz250. this sounds stupid but when i change the oil and start pouring in the new oil it starts to come out of the oil level hole on the side case pretty early and when after i ride it it shows little to no oil am i doing something wrong or any suggestions

Drain all of the oil out.
When you fill it just use a measuring cup. pour in 750ml. and you will be good to go.

I change mine every 3-4 rides and never check it.
A couple of times a year I will measure the ammount of used oil that comes out when I drain it, just to make sure there aren't any leaks or consumption.

X2.Never trust the ck hole on any bike.Some are close,many are way off.Pour in the recommended amount and go ride.

Exactly what GlennC and Ford said, as long as you know you have no leaks and your seals are good.

i have a good oz. measuring cup i checked a conversion it says 25.3 ounces would it be better to round down to 25 or up 26

It won't make any diferance, I would shoot for the midle :D
