A machine shop capability sounds terrific. I have been to several shops in my area asking for a reference to a reputable machine shop for bore jobs. If one of the shops had said "just leave the piston and slug on this here desk, and pick it up on Tues. Do you want a stage 1 port job with that?", I wonder where I would be shopping for my consumables after that?
