Forget the KTM and buy a TM.
It has a faster motor.
If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough

I think im going to have to jump on the 2011 ktm 150sx deal because i called 10 dealers out here and not one has a 2012 in stock until early sptember  :o seems to me that 2 strokes have made the comeback and are going to give honda, kawi, and suzuki something to think about. Bikes are expensive and parts (plus labor since i dont know how to work on 4 strokes) are extremely expensive, if a 4 has to be rebuilt for the price of almost a new bike, this is not the future, there going to kill off all the riders that are not rich and cant afford it to race and fix there bike if it grenades. I think id rather stick with the 2011 anyway because the pds should be more or less as perfect as its going to get and the 2012 will be something new with the linkage.

My son Jesse on his new 150sx.

The KTM 150sx is a great bike for a novice rider. Jesse rides 125/250F beginner and 85 jr.
