I finally got a chance to watch the video and listen to the pod cast... honestly I was surprised.
Mitch certainly does not shy away from the questions about two strokes and in fact all but says in the video that he is a two-stroke guy. I did enjoy the stories of competing with another tuner at his shop to see who ported the fastest cylinder....
It certainly makes it a little bit more palatable to hear his reasons for not voting FOR the two strokes. While I don't agree with him, because I feel that by changing the rules the other manufacturers will build machines to compete if they are interested in winning.
He also speaks about the fact that he doesn't think that the displacement rule was very well thought out in the beginning....
And also mentions that the manufacturers are not so sure that they actually made the right decision!!
I'm glad that I listened.... while I was not 100% happy with his choices, I certainly understand his reasons for making them.
