Pick your color. :)
We will be going with 7/8" bars, unless I can come up with big bar mounts.

Although the 'no rip tip' propaganda is total BS. It just rips at the seam.

I voted black,
red grips and levers would be DOPE!!
those pillow "plops" suck
ODI "Ruffian" locking grips are the cats ass but they don't come in red
so Scott MX1 would be my other choice
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

as for grips, renthal kevlar ones have always been the best for me, they never seen to rip at the end when you crash, and they are soft and really long lasting, and im pretty sure i get less vibrations out of them, only down side is the colour

Thats what mine have already done 3 times. I'm on my 4th grip/throttle tube.

as for grips, renthal kevlar ones have always been the best for me, they never seen to rip at the end when you crash, and they are soft and really long lasting, and im pretty sure i get less vibrations out of them, only down side is the colour

I was looking at those... But I was really turned away by the color. I care about cosmetics a bit. Plus the pillow tops just feel great. But I still think I should invest in the kevlars because the pillow tops are NOT satisfying after having to change them every couple rides.

The colour of the kevlar renthal grips is a big of a dissapointment, but it grows on you, and they cost about £2 more than a normal grips and last as long as hard compounds but are as comfy as softs, I even dropped a set on my road bike  :P

If you want long life I found a pair of 30-40 dollar grips where the throttle tube is attatched and its metal... But then when they wear out its a 30-40 dollar replacement
