Ok well I think there will be quite a few polls coming with this many suggestions. :)
I have a set of black universal engineering clamps, with 7/8" bar mount. I'll have to pick up a big bar mount.

Id stick with the 7/8" bars...light weight with good flex. Every bit of weight you can save will help that 125 alot.

I wouldnt be as concerned with the durability of the bars more than the weight, with those clamps the front end should stay straight in a crash. Ive always ran 7/8" bars, even on my 450.

Just my opinion. Looking good

A Red Ano 7/8" Renthal bar with Black ASV levers would look good. :)

Agreed. As for bar size,I've had the 1" with no crossbar and the standard 7/8.I know some have a preference but I've honestly never seen any real difference as I've managed to bend both :( :D
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

My main prefference  for the fat bars is due the lack of a crossbar, I've taken a wacking or two in the face from the cross bar on Renthals, I also noticed that renthals increase my armpump, but I'm not riding the Project YZ144 so use your best judgement.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I don't think arm pump will be too much of a factor. I would go with the best deal, crossbar or no crossbar.

Agreed. Arm pump is usually caused by the bend of the bar or being out of shape.

Or riding a KX250 in the tight south eastern woods :P
I get it within the first 10 miles, regardless of training, or warm up routine. Once I stop and stretch my forearm muscles and tendons by holding my arm out straight, palm out, fingers up, and pulling back on my fingers it goes away with in a minute and I don't get it again.
It is the action of  blood filling the muscles to capacity resulting in pain and the temporary ability to properly control said muscles. Also known in medical terms as Hyper permeation,
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I get it in my fingers almost every race. I start out the race with only one finger on the clutch but end with two :p

im a little late on this discussion but id say to let the bars be decided on by whoever will be racing the bike so theyll have something they like and are used to
