« on: March 07, 2011, 06:58:11 PM »
What else do you guys want to see on the project bike?

Levers?
Bars?
Tires?
Powder coat? what parts?
Anodized trim?
Let me know what you guys want! :)

me :)
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

Bars and tires would be cool. The one set of bars I have not seen people use(except on atv's) is Fasst Flexx bars. Apparently they are close to indestructible, and help with vibration/hard landings. The few videos of people using them on bikes love them.

Ditto, I knew that. Simply pointing them out, along with the motor I messaged to Charles.

Fork bleeders, vent hose spinner on gas cap vent hose.Though not blingy,I swear by both of them.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Good suggestions! I have a set of fork bleeders, and some IMS pro pegs. :) Boyesen is giving us a Rad Valve and other items.

The Faast bars are pretty neat, but they are super expensive, heavy, and only come with one set of elastomers, so if they are too stiff or too soft you gotta get an assortment when you order them, then fart around with them till you find the combonation of what you like. Just some red fat bars would be cool, with either red half waffles or Kevlar grips.

Radiator braces, glide plate, Ride Eng. stainless brake line kits,  oversized front rotor, 260mm at least. Red hoses, red billet gas cap, and if you're not going to run barkbusters some type of folding levers, I like the ASV F3/shorty Pro clutch and brake levers,  black on black.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I personally think gold wheels would look fantastic.  Sort of that retro look also, although i am a fan of black.

Black wheels w/ red hubs have already been established. Cool idea though.

if it were my bike I was making it setup for mx racing. Here are some goodies I would have. Also The reason I chose tag for alot of stuff I was just in a seminar with tag metals and found out how awesome their stuff is and the metals they use and thats coming from a renthal guy.

Tag xt-1 oversized braced handlebars yamaha bend
Applied factory triple clamps in red http://appliedrace.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=9&products_id=1258
Tag sprockets front and rear (13/50 outdoors, 13,51 or 52 indoors)
Sunline SL4 clutch assembly with mdx lever
Red radiator hoses
billet aluminum gas cap red
red aluminum oil cap

P.s. its really hard to find trick parts for this bike lol
