Dude, if you already have a TC2, PUT IT ON!!!!  8) I was assuming you didn;t have anything yet and gonna just moto. My bad. The TC2 works great with the stock pipe, I noticed my bike pulled longer on top, but didn't notice anything down low, it's also quieter then the stocker and won't burn down any forests.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

Most definitely, I had some success with the clickers, but still couldn't get it to settle into turns, or get rid of the top stroke harshness, got it revalved and it is sooooo much better, it's like a different bike altogether. I held off on the stiffer fork springs to see how the valving was compared to stock, the action now is super, but I need the extra resistance for my weight and oversized tank, I ordered the .49kg fork springs last night.

Thank you for all of your help. For my weight the front springs are good I'm just getting them revalved and also getting a new spring for the rear and getting the shock revalved. I was wanting to order a pro circuit linkage but they don't know when the company will even make some more for the two strokes.

I set my race sag at 95mm it lowers the seat height and lays back the rake with you on board, fixing the stinkbug problem, I told my suspension guy this before I had him revalve it to compensate the valving for the 10 mm of displaced stoke action. Call your guy now!! Hopefully he hasn't put your shock back together.
Another tip on the fork height is to lower the forktubes flush with the top clamp, just the caps should be sticking out. And get those quick air bleeders, these forks build air pressure like crazy.

yep, When I told my guy where I set the sag and why, he was blown away, not only that I knew I could adjust the rake by adjusting the preload on the spring, but that I knew that it affected the valving as well.  my shock is so f'n good now I'd swear it was an A kit KYB. Come on fork springs!!!

Yes,  that was the first thing I did to my bike, adjustment wise, the actual first thing was greasing the swingarm linkage, every greasable bearing and pivot, anti siezing all the fasterners, and replacing the horrible Bridgestones w/ dunlop 756. I rode my buddies 06, before I bought mine, and he had his set up stock with like a 1/2 inch sticking out, it twitched terribly at speed, and would not take a sweeper for anything.
Dropping the forks made a big difference in stability, and cornering, but it wasn't enough for me, the extra 10mm of sag (95mm) was the ticket.(recommended sag is 105mm) I experimented w/ 5mm, 7mm, & 12mm as well. 12mm made the turning to slow for tight eastern trails I ride, 5 & 7mm was still a little twitchy wide open.
I also use alot of rebound dampening, 5 out from seated with the valving  have now, it allows the the bike to settle into turns, complements the sag setting, by laying the rake back, and the whole pogo stick feeling it had stock it gone completely.
Are you having it valved for MX or offroad?

I also have a 2006 kx250.  The only problem is im not very educated on suspension so i really do not know how to set the bike up to help the high back end. Ive set my race sag but im not sure if im really doing it right.  Also i dont have enough money to get my the suspenion revalved or anything like that.  Any tips on setting the race sag would be great.
