Steel v Alloy sprockets.

Hi,
What material sprockets do you prefer and for what bike are you using them on. I was just wondering what to put on my cr125 when it comes time to replace them.I'll definetly replace everything as a set. But what do you prefer...steel or alluminium sprockets.

Steel is more durable but the higher unsprung weight will affect both acceleration and rear suspension action.

Aluminum. As sachs says-way too much weight with a steel. It's hard to believe how much until you hold the two in your hands.
With proper care,I've never had one last less than a full season and usually two.
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Anybody tried those new bi-metal (stainless steel and aluminum) sprockets?
