My dream bike right now, except it cost more than three times the truck I am driving right now, probably won't happen anytime soon....

Thanks all.  It's a 2011 KTM 250SX.  I liked the stock graphics, but the rear fender looked too plain.  I really wanted to include a shout out with the TSM logo in there.

As for the price, it's all in what you want.  I've never been able to justify spending more than $2500 on a bike, but I'm at the point where something brand new and unmolested is suddenly worth more to me than it used to be.  When I saw that KTM redesigned the SX for 2011, it was a now-or-never kinda deal.

Cool bike.As for the truck bike relationship-it's irrelevant.
Way back when one of the guys I raced with laughed one day when I pulled in to the pits.Thinking there was something hanging off the bike or something I said "what's the matter?"
He says, nothing,I just always get a kick out of you showing up with a $6000 bike on a $600 truck ;D
Prioritize man,prioritize.

Btw,he was wrong.The bike cost me $6800,the truck $500 :D
I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Nice!  I'm getting there.

My truck cost $26,000.  Only problem, it cost that back in 1999 when I got it brand new.  Now, going on 12 years later it's probably worth less than the bike.  I don't turn stuff over very quickly and will probably have this bike for another 7 years or so.

 91 chevy van,
 $2500 used w 84,000 miles in 2007

95 wells cargo 18' enclosed trailer
$3000 used with brake, hitch, 7 way plug installed, and registration 2010

2007 KX250
$6200 sticker price brand new on the floor
+  financing
+refinancing

hmm???? No wonder my wife is always pissed at me

If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I've bought many new bikes over the years and never regretted it.

My newer Ford F150 on the other hand.......the heater core has started to leak - shop time 8+ hours(the dash has to come out!).Lately I've been thinking that it might be more satisfying just to burn the money in a horse bucket then to waste it on a new vehicle. :-[

P.S.I've seen the new 2T Katooms at the local dealership, they are the future not the 4Ts.
