Scott 450 boots?
« on: January 30, 2011, 07:41:40 PM »
I need to get new boots like now, since I finally able to ride again, and ruined my old almost new ones at the time, when I broke leg.

Anyway, I have a sponsorship with Scott so I can get a super good deal on there new boots, I get deal on 661 and gaerne also, I just got a pair of 661 flight boots and sold them before I even wore them, they fit horribly, one boot fit different then the other, could just be my retarded feet, but they were very tight too, narrow, I have big fat feet and calves.

Anyway I didnt know if anyone on here as tried the Scott boots out yet, put a post on some other forums and no one appears to have tried them out yet.

Found 1 review and it was good.

I really want Sg12's but dont want to spend that much dough right now, going on a riding trip to Alabama in 2 weeks, need to save some money if possbile.

Any help would be awesome.

Did not know Scott made boot's.
I just sold a brand new pair of Axo Boxers.
The toe was far to high and I couldnt even get my foot under the shifter.
Gave em to a mate at a good price. He rides a fooper so i dont feel bad. :P
My Fly boot's are knackered and need a pair myself.
Another mate has 661's and loves them.
Will keep an eye on this for any advise.

I was thinking bout trying out those Scotts myself, I got a brand new pair of AXO Primes, the toe is retardedly high the foot bed is a little wide too. they are black, size 11, worn for 4 miles. I'm in Pensacola Florida and will come off them cheap if you're intersted.
If a pair of 2" brass balls isn't working, I doubt that the 3" model will make much difference.

I have a set of these and they are awsome. Just don't put the clips on to tightor the buckle bracet will break. Broke one on mine .

Well I went ahead and just ordered a pair of the Gaerne Greact boots, they look awesome, and are supposed to be awesome from everything I read, and save me a ton of dough over SG12's

I tried getting ahold of Scott to ask some questions but never could, and since I dont have much time till I go down South to ride I had to get boots asap.

They should be here today so Ill let you know how they are.

The only other thing that scared me about the Scotts, was sizing, then the fact that most the pro's that supposed to be wearing them are not, Austin Stroupe, Kyle Cunningham, so that made me think maybe they are not the best?
