Cabin fever blows...  really sucks getting up, going to work int he dark, coming home... its dark.  *sigh*

At least there is some sledding to do.  And winter projects!  I have my 93 KX 250 completely tore down... just waiting on a flywheel puller to show up so I can split cases.  :)

This is gonna be a great year.  Gonna find me a nice 250 for motocross, and the ol 93 is gonna get set up for bush riding.  Can't wait!

Where in western Canada are you from Ford?  I'm in southern Alberta.

As for the Golers,it turns out they were transplanted westerners :D You'll have to google it for more info.

Onto a slightly lighter topic - I think Spring might just be around the corner:
   1.Got up to 11c yesterday.
2.There was a fly buzzing around in Caramel the guinea pig's pen.
3.Rufus and Petunia the family Embden geese are getting "hissy" (sure sign of Spring).
   and
4.The birds are singing and snow melting fast.
5.I spend more and more time staring at my dirtbikes. ;D

Agreed. For the first time in a month, the temp here is slightly above freezing but is supposed to dive back down again for the next week.
Regardless, once I see the deer playing in the backyard,I know spring is right around the corner-I think   :-\

Moose ARE everywhere in Canada and are a species that adapts quite well to mankind's intrusions into the wilderness. The biggest moose can be found in Alaska and the Yukon.Deer and moose meat is an acquired taste and nutritionally is far superior to your typical feedlot raised supermarket beef so try to give it a second chance.

Some guy in Russia was able to domesticate a female moose and he is racing it in cross country horse events.Word has it that he is decimating the competition. :-X
