Well all bikes are dangerous but this is just not cool.
I haven't ridden a four stroke since my 85 days when I rode my friends Crf150r... I hated it. Never want to ride one again. I feel like its going to nose dive everytime I jump. Not fun.

Did the RM shut off or did it lock up? I've never heard of that happening to a two stroke.

I realize that the RM is a 4 str..This phenomenon of 4 strokes stalling/blowing up and spitting the rider off is something new to me.

Sorry, I thought you were implying that you thought this rider was on a smoker.

For all the Maico Breako comments, Maicos are actually quite reliable and motors were not part of the breaking.  Why don't 4 strokes have a nick name like that yet?
Modest beginings start with a single blow of a horn, man.

All of my Maico's have been tough bikes.

The YZF's seem to snap the rod right next to the big end and it takes out the cylinder,balance shaft,cases and then plows into the transmission and destroys that as well.When they blow the repair bill often exceeds the value of the motorcycle.

Just before it blew you could see he was looking down at the bike.
There was obviously some kind of noise coming out of it.
Yet he kept riding  ::)
People with no sort of mechanical knowledge + 4 strokes = PAIN.
If you don't fall off you are not going hard enough
