Who the H are you anyway?
« on: August 03, 2010, 01:14:41 PM »
So the thought occurred to me the other day after TMKIWI accused me of being the hairy, fat, mullet dude with the gun(which we all know was actually Jetz :D)it would be nice to know who you're actually talking to.For instance,if you come across as the second coming of RC and you turn out to be 300lbs and 16 yrs old or say you claim to be a pretty decent and able rider from ..lets say...NZ and ride a..oh,I don't know..say a  TM when it turns out you're an immigrant from Australia who lives in NZ but just rides a Kangaroo and breeds cane toads..well,sometimes the source is just good to know when discussing various topics. ;D
With that in mind, let's see a pic of you and your steed.(yeah,I know, another worthless topic but I'm bored again ::))
For me,it wasn't easy as I have many of me riding the bike but could only find one that the little one snapped before we hit the practice track last year after I took one of her. Here goes.....

and the little one(I know she's too tall for the bike but she says the lem is too tall for her-as usual-what do I know?)

I'd rather a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy.

Funny, I always imagined you as looking like Mr.T!

Anyway, I've got only, like, two pictures of myself.  One from when we were testing out the camera, and one when we were playing around with the Chainsaw (hey, this is Oregon!)

You've seen the steeds, but here's a shot that I thought was funny.

Is this Maico a 440 or only a 400?  Well in all the confusion, I forgot myself.
But considering this is a 1978 Magnum, the best-handling bike in the world, you have to ask yourself one question.
Do you feel lucky, punk?

Good idea. I assumed there was already a thread like this so I didn't start one when I first joined here.

I only have one pic of me with my bike, my friend took it last week when we stopped for a break (I'm on the KX125). Ignore my circa 1998 pants and jersey. One of these years I'll buy some less ugly stuff, lol...

My nephew Zach the night we brought his CR80 Expert home (he lives here with us):

My nephew Nick (he doesn't live here), the day I showed him his KX60 was done:

Well, I don't have any pictures of me with a chainsaw, but then again, I've actually never used a chain saw before.

Here is a unique photo of me few can claim.  It is a picture of me in front of a metal statue of Shakira in the middle of the night in Barranquilla Colombia.

Here is a picture of me on the KTM 495 after the paint started peeling off the gas tank.  I've since shaved it off and it's just faded white again.  A new gas tank cost $900, so I choose not to replace it on that bike.

And here is the little one on her bike.

I dont have any of me standing beside the bike.  This will have to do.  I am only 16 by the way.

Heres a close up of the other picture.

I can say JETZ looks similar to what I expected, opfermanmotors does not. I expected you to be older for some reason.

That's weird, his bike preferences are newer than mine. :D

Haha, ya, that's true.  I'm not so big on bikes from the 70s.  I like bikes from the 80s as all my bikes are early to mid 80s.

I don't have many recent pics of me, but I did find some when I was in the local volunteer fire department back in CT. I have since moved to Arizona where it's hot as hell.

This is from 2009 with the Guys from the Discovery Show Firehouse USA.

Just a picture of me.

And me goofing off, destroying things.

I don't have any pics of any of my past dirt bikes, although I wish I took a picture of my 1983 RM125. :(
