Honda made good two strokes when they had to. Although they did some serious ass kicking, they were the last ones in and the first ones out. At one point, they were on the verge of making a revolutionary two-stroke with unheard-of power and efficiency, but they cancelled it. One of their own estimated that they'd be seeing 400 horsepower per liter if they had continued working on it.
