pro circuit pulls out eric sorbys '04 125 and freshens her up. lots of interesting points said. back when they came out with 250fs riders had a choice of which one they wanted. matt walker and sorby stayed on them. lap times were pretty much the same but struggled off start and whoops in supercross. even weimers times were dare i say it... comparable to a KX250F

mitch payton notes that R&d is FOUR times more costly than that of a two stroke

nathan ramsey was asked to come test out the bike. but respectfully declined. mitch then mentioned it was a 125. he changed his mind and broke out his pc gear from when he was on the team

jake weimer asked if the change in bikes affects racing: "i dont think it has changed the quality of racing or anythign like that, but i think the speeds have definitely gotten higher. and if anything, its a little more dangerous than it used to be"

it handled better through bumps and doesnt kick and because your on the gas a lot it works better under power. so it handles AMAZING. its so easy to go through rough sections its so light it just blows right through it. its so much lighter it doesnt beat you up and throw you around like a 250f. its a little more work but the work is easier

Now that's the kind of writing that makes a good magazine.  Not because it leans toward the two-strokes, but because it's just flat-out interesting to read.  The closer they can get to sounding like Top Gear or Dirt Bike circa 1972, the better.
