lol, after reading that I had to check Honda's website. If they can't race the 150, then all they have to offer the young racer is a trail bike. Very foolish Honda.
So there you have it, 4 strokes rule the showroom floor space. They like it so well, they just sit there year after year. As was mentioned in another thread, you can't even find a ktm 250sx in the states as they're all sold out.I think it'd be wise for Honda to take back 75% of all the handicap bikes from the dealers, pull the engines (make those available at a reduced price in the parts counters, for those who are gonna need them) and retrofit 250 2 stroke motors into those frames.
I was driving to work this morning, and a Honda Motorsports came on the radio. The voice-over guy was one of those "MONSTER TRUCK MAYHEM!! YOU'LL BUY THE WHOLE SEAT, BUT YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EDGE!!" kind of guys. The ad was saying they got clearance from Honda to sell below liquidation prices, so you could have a CRF150R for just $1,995!!!I laughed so hard I didn't even realize the light turned green until some guy honked his horn behind me. They're running out of room to store those heaps.
