Husqvarna did it in '76. Terry Cunningham won a couple of Enduro Championships with it. It was pretty neat and although was high maintenance, was pretty bullit proof.

That's cool. The quad at the farm we use for utility has an auto tanny, but I don't like it. It down shifts way to early and puts you over the bars if you standing up

Hahahaha, even though dual exhausts look cool, its just a marketing technique for honda. The dual exhausts are eye candy and probably add about $500 on the bike price, and I bet they will reel in a bunch of other suckers with that "speed machine".
