How about the Bay of Fundy during Hurricane Earl.Hard to tell in the pic but the rain was coming down in sheets and the wind was howling.Big waves but you can't see far enough out past the breakwater.I threw in the second shot as the little one was with me and took the pic while posing.Take your best shot....

Cripes,you guys all right down there?I just caught a quick blurb on the news about the earthquake.Natural disasters are everywhere.I'm sitting here awaiting Hurricane Earl that is due to hit in about 6 hrs.Currently,30'c and calm.When it hit's I'll fire the old woman and the cat out in it and pass along their report

......what are you waiting for.I just got mine in the mail today.Good quality(had this brand before)and ,if I do say so myself,I look dam good in them.Well,ok,so I haven't tried them on yet but seriously,how could I not?

He's on a KXF450 now but if you click on his site,click on results,then click on what season-2yrs ago and back all 2t.Rarely a soundtrack but if so,you still hear the bike-and good tunes.If you like offroad-and who doesn't-it's hard to beat these imo.He's typically Florida so not as tight and skanky as here but the same idea.Enjoy........

The Aug issue of MXA is a good read as per usual.Lots of good 2t stuff including a YZ125 test,tribute to Danny Chandler and Andrew McFarlane and site sponsor Revanche with T shirt of the month(must put that on my list)I won't give it all away because,well,get your fat arses off the barcalounger and waddle down to the newsstand to pick up a copy and support those who support you.

MXA- Is there a future for two strokes?

Taichi Honda-"There is no future for two strokes at Honda.Our policy is 100% four stroke.It's a green issue.Honda believes in this in every product it makes,from motorcycles to garden trimmers"

He goes on to say two strokes have many good points and he personally rides a pair of CR250's with his son.Go figure.

So the thought occurred to me the other day after TMKIWI accused me of being the hairy, fat,mullet dude with the gun(which we all know was actually Jetz )it would be nice to know who you're actually talking to.For instance,if you come across as the second coming of RC and you turn out to be 300lbs and 16 yrs old or say you claim to be a pretty decent and able rider from ..lets say...NZ and ride a..oh,I don't know..say a  TM when it turns out you're an immigrant from Australia who lives in NZ but just rides a Kangaroo and breeds cane toads..well,sometimes the source is just good to know when discussing various topics.
With that in mind, let's see a pic of you and your steed.(yeah,I know,another worthless topic but I'm bored again )
For me,it wasn't easy as I have many of me riding the bike but could only find one that the little one snapped before we hit the practice track last year after I took one of her.Here goes.....






and the little one(I know she's too tall for the bike but she says the lem is too tall for her-as usual-what do I know?)

Yeah,so this link shows Kamloops before she won the series but I couldn't find the other so you get the idea..Anyway,14 yrs old and against a field of 250 4t's.She also won the west enduro series as well.How cool is that?

Just because I'm the curious type-or bored maybe

As for me,it's 10:15 pm.I just came up from working on a friends cb400f(resto project).The girls are at guide camp so things are quiet at the moment-except for the coyotes screaming and hollering in the back 40-which,oddly enough,is a somewhat pleasant sound when compared to the wife screaming and hollering at me.Go figure.Anyway,work tomorrow so need to get some more stuff done before bed.Yup,living the dream

I just thought I'd throw this up here in case anyone wants to come for a visit- you'd have an idea what the terrain is like.
Actually,it's pretty varied.This is a short video one of the guys took of the first scramble of the year in these parts.I'm fortunate enough to have two of the venues within about 15 min of me.Unfortunately,my daughters activities are priority so I'll miss the first couple round but hope to get in on the misery later in the season.Anyhoo,some good 2t sounds.
If anyone has any of their primary riding terrain,post it up.
