Non-Moto / Show us your Ride?. The 4 wheel kind.

yeh, mine is a 1.3l supercharged, and with a few mods you gotta get used to steering a lot.

you have better handling and braking system than me in my little polo g40. i rode a swift once, and for me, it handles pretty well compared to mine when was bone stock.

don't you guys wish that your car was a twostroke machine? i ride mine like a twostroke most of the times, high revs, allways on the pipe, don't need to clutch on the corners, but that's ok i hit them hard!

even in indoor supercross tracks, you have wider corners than it used, back in the days. someday even a road rider with small cojones to jump big tables and triples can go to a track and race, as it seems that don't require much skills.

this is ma'bih!

vw polo g40 1.3L supercharged. we don't have bigbore engines or v8's in our country.

his engine is in pieces atm, i'm rebuilding it at my house. hope to drive it very soon!

Looks Tuff as. is it a rear wheel drive??? if so would make a good little drifter.

Nah man, it's fwd!!

It's fun to ride, it's quite light, but they don't handle that good. i allready put some koni sport shocks and lowering springs. next step will be wide rims!

i think it worths buying a fresh bike when you have/had a racing career or you're an average rider.

some guys i know are just weekend riders, they also get lot's of bolt on parts but they don't even feel the difference due to lack of tracks or good trails were someone else needs to be competitive to require mods or new bikes every year.

you guys in the states have great conditions to get into the sport and make good progress, even if you're not an A class rider, you guys can kick ass.

Technical / !!!!Please help me with this clutch case accident!!!!
« on: May 23, 2012, 03:05:21 PM »
i've damaged 2 cases of my cr 125, one of them, happened the same as shown, i replaced the case because it opened a crack arround the clutch actuator, the other case only opened a hole trough the stator. i've spent a few hours rebuilding the case the last time that happened, luckily the aluminum parts fell inside the stator case.

i have a home made guide plate with strong screws to avoid that situation. it seems that our 125 don't deal very well with loose chains.

good luck with that!

as i see it is like the guys near my town, they think they are more "motocross rider" because they had the 2010 bike, the 2011's bike, now they have 2012 bike, and sure they'll get the next years bike. why so much trade?! some of those bikes fail time to time, or maybe it's just fashion to have the lastest year bike, with shinny new plastics even if they that the bike will be the same as in the last 5 years. if they would swap for a reliable bike, even if it's an older model?? hell no, why!? in theyr head "what people will say if i show up with an old bike..oh man, i gotta carry oil in my backpack if i ride a big trail session!"

it's true, i've seen it!! MXA is available here in Portugal, they get the magazine and i ear them talking about non sense bike improvments from a year to another and a bit latter they'll decide to trade theyr bikes.

local bike shops have loads of 4 stroke bikes, 2 or 3 new ones, and 10 of them from 05 to 2011 in mint condition, that's why i say it's fashion to trade bikes nowadays..
