General Two Stroke Talk / The Ultimate YZ250
« on: April 24, 2013, 09:58:34 AM »
Yeah, the way MXA currently promote Yamaha's YZ two stroke range, they would want to be getting some kickbacks !!

He says "It?s like the old situation with carbureted bikes: Carbs are only so good. EFI completely erased all those problems. I welcome it. It?s going to make the end user?s stuff better.?

Ahem...flame away!

 >:-D

As bad as it sounds Vintage, this is the general riding public's opinion. One less thing to have to do to your bike, i.e, jetting it constantly. It has seriously affected Yamaha's sales of their 250f's. Purely because they are still carburetted. Look forward a few years, and imagine there are several companies that have had fuel injected two strokes for a couple of years. Do you think people who were looking at buying a new bike would still want a carb'd two stroke. No, they would want the injected spec bike, as it's one less thing to worry about. Regardless of whether it is necessarily better.

General Two Stroke Talk / Two smoker Porn??

I don't feel guilty. I'm comfortable with my sexuality :D

After your post in the other thread, I am unsure which team you are playing for !!!

The two stroke side. See the title of the thread is two smoker porn, so the two stroke being straight and four stroke porn being not-so-straight. See my logic?  :P

Haha, very good !!

General Two Stroke Talk / Semi-Related - MX Video Games
« on: April 22, 2013, 06:16:51 AM »
Get on over and check this forum out, and show your support for the development of a new MX v ATV title. A media/game company has just bought the rights to a bunch of old THQ titles in a bankruptcy auction, and included in it was the MX v ATV range of games. If they see enough of a market, they may develop and deliver a new MX game. I know that there are plenty of guys here who would enjoy playing the MX v ATV range of games that exist on any one of the video game systems. Go and make some noise over there if you want to see a new MX game.

Saw that today. Glad to see KTM realise the path the company should take. BMW were taking them down a short dead end road in my opinion. Husky should really develop some credibility worldwide with that outlook. And with the plans for more newly developed two strokes, it could really show Japan that they have made some very bad business decisions over the last few years !!

General Two Stroke Talk / Trustworthy Piston and Con-rod Brands??
« on: April 17, 2013, 11:55:09 PM »
We always run Wiseco.

We will be running Wiseco Pistons and ProX rods in our Outdoor KTM's.
The OEM KTM Connecting rod is the weak point on the SX's

That is some good info to know.

Check this guy out, he is the real deal. Probably expensive, but supplies cranks to many factory teams. His name is Phil. Would be THE man to speak to regarding cranks and bottom ends.

Add some top results in the Aus MX nats to that list as well. Really doing big things right now, and only look to continue to grow. The Japs definitely need to be worried about what is currently occuring. Unfortunately, I think they are asleep at the wheel, and are not taking notice.
