My thoughts boys would be 300 although a few more ponies might be nice theres a lot of room to move for mods, good torque and im sure you can get higher revs out of them ,best thing is that they are still in production or better still just go out and get a tm300 mx and its all done, but fingers crossed on this, one would be great to see 2ts in this even from the other side of the world.

With my 07 all I did was add a fmf fatty pipe and muffler ,it made a really good boost over the whole rev range and the bike pulled really well and the best thing is its a pretty cheap good mod.I didn't really do a lot more the rm has a great user friendly manner I have also heard of some adding a 10 oz flywheel weight but personal preference on that and would depend on your riding .hope it helps

OH well someone had to find out at somepoint

Good arguments but what I took out of this is setup setup setup get the bike handling sorted, then play with the engine ,we have all known for a long time that only 2% of riders can ride a 450 engine to its true potential and even if your 2t isn't the most powerful of the bunch suspension and rider comfort will have you still on the pipe while the others are flagging with there efi and poorly set up machines. Dont get me wrong I would love to see the development of a efficient reliable efi for 2ts but the big question is do we really need it ? is there other areas that money could be put into or used to bribe the world bodies to reintroduce 2ts to the top level

Hey guys next instalment of this thread, anyone played with the jetting, ive installed a adv clutch spring kit but finding the bike takes a little while to get on the pipe ,seems to sit in the mid revs for quite a while ,not sure if this is because of the spring kit and is normal. My wee girl is not hammering it so was thinking there was a bit of a build up on the plug etc.Basically ive replaced the plug was running fuel at 40:1 but now gone out to 60:1 using belray h1r so it gets the good stuff but gott me baffled a little, have also upped the gearbox capacity from 150 to 220ml  perhaps its this evo your the man of knowledge on these .   Also any good parts dealers over there with the exchange rate at the moment might get some parts shipped back to nz.
