I commented on youtube asking how his lap times compare to his 450 while on his 250 two stroke and he said that at this track his 450 was faster by only a few tenths of a second which is pretty good for a 2000 cr250.

He could have just crashed and tweaked his bars, but you could be right too.  Atleast it didnt break during qualifying.

When the gate was about to drop i heard the amazing sound of a two stroke along with a white puff of smoke coming out of a bike sorrounded by four bangers.  Mike was running 26ish before he went off the track unfortunately.  Lets hope he is able to make it out for the 2nd moto to do some damage on those japanese companys and there beloved four strokes.

I could count the number of four strokes i saw in this video with one hand but if i tried to count the two strokes my brain might blow up.

Personally i think james stewarts crash at daytona was worse because chad reed landed on the grassy downward slope and james stewart landed head first on the hard packed dirt going pretty fast.

Cool, thanks....it has 3 hours on the rebuild.  I'm wanting it for a trail riding and to have for a future project.  It has mismatched & faded plastic, but the way it looks, I think new plastic, pipe and aluminum cleaning solvent, it'll look great.  I've ridden a KX 500 twice (was an adrenaline rush!), have many years of experience on 250's but at 6'7" 235 lbs, I want something a little more powerful than my 250 for open areas.  I may look into de-tuning the engine, if I go decide to make my own "Service Honda".  It's pretty sad and funny that I have to de-tune it to make it more competetive with the 450's

Wow 6'7, i thought i was tall at 6'4.  Guess i was wrong.
