I don't see too many KTM rollers for sale but maybe you will get lucky. You may have to buy a running bike and sell the engine to recoup a little of your cost. Sounds like a fun project but maybe not one for a cheapo  .

That's cool. A lot of four strokes at the club I was riding at in SW PA. Mostly all Euro bikes though.

Hopefully it happens, that would be really cool to see. Though I don't live close to a track here. in PA there were no SX's close, but I was close to 2 before Steel City got cut. Here in TX I am close to an SX but not an outdoor.

I've actually been thinking my next woods bike may be a new 150. That or a slightly used 200. I am a big small bore fan. My KDX200 was still one of my all time favorite woods bikes, after my GasGass EC250 of course.

I remembered I rode with a guy a few times that had one of these about 5 years ago. He is about your size. I went back to his thread about it on the old PA dual sport site I am on and this is what he posted:

"It was used for GNCC riding, so it was set up really nicely for woods.   

112 cc stroker crank. 
MX tech suspension
Titanium rear spring
FMF SST header
FMF Titanium muffler
Rekluse z-start pro auto clutch 
Bar risers

Ran great at all RPM / throttle combinations. "
