I would think that if it were jetted correctly that only the idle screw would be needed to get it to idle

If you got the old base gasket you can check it's thickness with a caliper or micrometer and compare it to the new one's

2t's right Rota, that's too broad of a question. Have you got a copy of "The 2 stroke tuners handbook"?. Don't forget that the more you try to pump out of your engine the less reliability you'll have. Why not bigger bore?

Only way I could think that a VIN could be traced would be through the DMV, how many of you guys have bought a used bike with no title and bothered to register it? None of my bikes have titles.

One time when I was young I was riding a friends Bultaco (R/H shift), flying down a straight away and up pops the 90 degree flat turn, I stomped and the shifter with my right foot and was dancing on the brake with my left foot trying to downshift... blasted straight off the edge of the trail through the orchard  :o
