ok so i closed my air fuel mixture screw and now im not sure where its supposed to be set... any tips on adjusting it? what difference does it make?

ok i got it... my jet needle wasnt going all the way down so i stretched the cable a little bit.. THX FOR THE HELP ANYWAY!!!  :D  :P  ;D

GOT IT  ;D With the exhaust leak and a small but noticeable air leak between the carb and reeds... I'm disappointed I didn't notice it. The clamp was on tight, but something happened that prevented a good seal. All set now, thanks for the help guys  :)

what do u mean exhaust leak? like the gasket/o-ring was messed up?? when i was looking at my bike when it was running with a high idle there was some exhaust smoke coming out from where the cylinder and exhaust pipe meet.  ???

i dont think its the carborator.. every thing works fine. i probly have an air leak somewhere. i tried closing up the air screw on the carb and that didnt even do it... i might just take it to the shop.... :(((((

i just rebuilt my 2000 cr125 and when i start it, it idles really high. ive cleaned the carb, put it back together the way my manual said, i even took the idle speed screw almost all the way out... PLEASE HELP!!!!
