Technical / 2004 RM 250 ring gap
« on: March 15, 2011, 10:22:17 PM »
usually run my rings at .011 for the top ring and .013 for the bottom. did a top end and ran the rings in for an initial measurement and they came in at .017 each. is it time for a replate? those clearances are a little loose for my taste.

I sell alot of namura pistons but tell everyone they must be changed a little before recommended stock piston service limit. If you are a mild rider they will last if you ride all out i would not run namura i would run a wiesco forged piston.  We sell wiseco pistons with a 10% discount to all tsm forum readers & members if you would like a price e-mail  topgearmx@yahoo.com
my cost on a wiseco kit from WPS is $136. That's a complete topend gasket kit, wristpin bearing, wristpin, clips, rings and piston. If you can beat that shipped to my door then we'll talk

I live in AZ and nobody out here has ever heard of or carries namura pistons. Can someone point me to where I can get them? Its for an 04 RM 250.

Technical / Re: 2004 RM 250 pipe
« on: March 06, 2011, 11:17:16 PM »
We just recently started selling dep pipes and are testing some on our kx250 two strokes plus some of our riders will be testing them. If you wanted to try a dep system i would cut you a deal for some feed back on what you think. Like run some laps with the stock pipe then bolt the dep on and do some r&d for us  let us know if we can help.
I am definitely interested, how much would the full system be with this discount? I'd prefer the raw steel pipe if possible.
