Switched from Bel ray MC1 to Maxima Super M recently. The super M seems to burn alot cleaner. I run turbo blue leaded 110 octane half and half with premium pump gas also.

Ran elf 2t a long time ago, it was by far the best oil i've used but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

The idea of a combined shootout is great.

However ,the problem, as I see it, is a lack of R&D on behalf of Yamaha. Unless they are willing to improve the bike in some large way, I have no reason at all to trade my 09 YZ 250 on a newer model.

I guess they still make money on the engine parts they sell me.
